It is well recognised that our soils, particularly in the western hemisphere, do not contain sufficient minerals to maintain optimum health and as we age our bodies become less adept at absorbing these nutrients from what we eat. Plus, certain pollutants in our environment can actively inhibit the body's ability to absorb nutrients. E.g. high levels of fluoride inhibits the body's uptake of the mineral boron.

 

One of the most common conditions affecting the population today is arthritis in some form (Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis,
ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile arthritis, etc.).
